The Clearlake City Council at their meeting last week approved the direct purchase of tax-defaulted properties from Lake County. TheRecordBee reports Clearlake City Manager Alan Floral stated that there are roughly 25 properties that would be in the city’s interest to purchase. The city authorized a budget for those purchases. The council is also moving forward with producing its agenda in Spanish for future meetings.
