A flood watch remains in effect for Mendocino and Lake Counties through the end of the day. A high surf warning is also in effect for the Mendocino Coast. Another round of heavy rain is expected over the weekend. Heavy rain on top of already saturated soil could make for continued flood risks. The Russian River near Hopland could exceed flood stage over the next few days. Winds are also expected to increase through tomorrow.
