One More Short Round of Storms On The Way, Then Some Drier Weather

The last round of storms in a pattern that began at Christmas and has pummeled the area is expected to arrive tomorrow, and should only last through Thursday. The state climatologist says with a break in rain over the last couple of days and drier weather forecast, rivers should recede, but will still be at high levels at the water works its way into watersheds in the area. Clearlake has risen to about 6 feet which according to water monitors makes it just under half full. The state will also see the second of king tides for the year, which are expected this weekend. Snowpack in the mountains is the highest its been since 2019.
