With more folks getting back on local bodies of water thanks to the recent rains, officials in Clear Lake are reminding boaters to use caution. Runoff from the storms has washed trees and other floating debris into the lake. Logs and other items can appear small on the surface of the water and may be much larger than expected. Water Resources is patrolling the lake and working to remove hazardous items, but boaters should also remain alert.
