Several more atmospheric river storms are expected for the area through the month. The California Department of Water Resources has warned although the recent rain is much needed to help counter the record-breaking drought in the area, storms moving through the area are expected to be longer in duration, causing flooding issues with already saturated soil in fire-scarred areas.
