The results of a survey on Wildfire Recovery and Resiliency put out by Mendocino County are in. The MendoVoice reports the survey was intended to help the county identify unmet needs following five large wildfire events in as many years. Hazardous fuels reduction in public rights of way, safe alternative emergency routes, improved emergency communications, and affordable housing were uppermost in a majority of survey responses. Specific concerns were stated in the “other” category of the survey and will require individual response.
