Willits Police Department Chief Fabian Lizarraga has confirmed a suspect to a brutal beating was apprehended Tuesday. In the early morning dark of Monday, 33-year-old Christopher Roy Krch is suspected of entering a Willits home on East Mendocino Avenue and beating an occupant’s head and face with a baseball bat. The victim sustained “pretty serious injuries” and law enforcement conducted a county-wide search for any sign of Krch. police do not have insight into the motives of the attack nor the nature of the relationship between Krch and the victim.
