Redwood Valley resident to compete

In December, rodeo fans from all over the world invade Las Vegas to watch the pros compete in their rodeo events. Along with the pros, there are junior rodeo contestants who qualify for the Jr. World Finals in Vegas as well. Kids compete throughout the year at sanctioned events throughout the U.S. The winner from each race moves on to the Jr. World competition. This year, a Redwood Valley resident qualified for the Jr. World event — 13 year old Rylee DeMarta earned her spot with her 15-year-old horse Nic. Rylee is also the WIllits 4-H president.
