Lake County Board of Supervisors this week will consider how to proceed with appointing a sheriff-coroner now that the current sheriff has announced his retirement. Sheriff Brian Martin announced in October that he planned to retire on December 30th. The board will meet beginning at 9 this morning in the board chambers on the first floor of the Lake County Courthouse. The meeting can be watched live on Channel 8 or online.
