Grant funding from Lake County and Cal Fire will soon allow the pilot use of an air curtain burner in the Cobb Mountain area. The burner will help reduce forest fuel loading levels by allowing brush and slash piles to be cleared and burned as cleanly as possible. Community access to the Cobb Mountain site will be announced at a future date.
