Mendocino City Communinity Services District Board of Directors Consider Rate Increases

The Mendocino City Community Services District Board of Directors is expected to approve rate increases for sewer service and groundwater management at their next meeting on December 12th. During public comment members of the public criticized the district’s methods of notification, urged them to focus more on the wastewater plant and to spend less on groundwater management, and pressed them to work harder towards getting federal grant funds. The meeting also saw the end of terms for two of the board members, Harold Hauck and Maggie O’Rourke. Hauck served as vice president of the board until 2019 when he became president.
