The name of a Lower Lake man killed in a single-vehicle accident has not been released by authorities. The accident happened around 3:15 yesterday morning. The driver, traveling westbound on Highway 281 east of Konocti Bay Road appeared to have turned and crashed into an embankment and rolled over. The driver was not wearing a seat belt. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved. An investigation is underway.
