Mendocino County Public Health have announced that cold and flu season has arrived early and that there is a rise in the number of infants and kids becoming severely ill. Dr. Andy Coren says many more kids are being admitted to ERs with severe respiratory illnesses, including RSV. Dr. Coren says vaccinations for the flu and COVID as well as masking, staying home if you’re sick, testing, and getting treatments from your provider or through TeleHealth continue to be the best courses of action.
