Clearlake City Council Meets Thursday, Will Consider Annexation of Property and Consider New Police Chief

The Clearlake City Council meets Thursday at 5 this week, the first part of the meeting will be a closed session to discuss the appointment of a police chief. The public portion of the meeting then begins at 6 and the council will consider beginning the process to annex 302 acres at 2050 and 2122 Ogulin Canyon Road. TheLakeCountyNews reports earlier in the year, the owners of the property asked the city to consider annexation. The council will also hold a public hearing to confirm assessments totaling just over $29,000 for city-funded abatements and will discuss extending existing cannabis development agreements and temporarily reducing the production fee.
