A Ukiah man has been arrested for the murder last week of a Laytonville man. Christopher Franklin Hill was arrested for the murder of Aaron Joseph Vossler. Vossler had been reported missing, and law enforcement began to hear unsubstantiated rumors that there had been foul play. Sheriff’s detectives and deputies responded to a tip that led them to Hill, he was questioned, a search warrant was served and evidence of foul play, and a shallow grave with human remains was found near Hill’s home. The remains were determined to be Vosslers. Hill was arrested, charged with murder, and remains in the Mendocino County Jail.
