State A.G. Asked to Review Ukiah’s Case Against Waidelich

The California Attorney General’s Office is assessing possible conflicts of interest connected to the Mendocino County District Attorney and the handling of a criminal complaint against former Ukiah Police Chief Nobel Waidelich. MendoFever reports the state scrutiny comes after DA David Eyster received the results of an outside investigation into the Waidelich complaint by Sonoma County authorities. Eyster has kept those results confidential and asked for the state AG’s office to review the case, which could take weeks.
