Mendocino County set a record of sorts this year, with over 190,00 cannabis plants destroyed at 18 different grow sites raided under the aegis of the Campaign Against Marijuana Planting program. The MendoVoice reports that figure is much higher than any other county in the state, representing nearly 20% of the over 973,000 plants seized statewide. California Attorney General Rob Bonta also announced that CAMP will be rebranded as Eradication and Prevention of Illicit Cannabis or EPIC and will focus on the darker side of the illicit cannabis market.
