In her latest progress report, Mendocino County CEO Darcie Antle provided updates on projects being worked on in advance of the planned expansion of the jail on Low Gap Road. The Daily Journal reports that Antle says the county’s architect is finalizing bidding documents for the Building 3 Jail Expansion Project having received state Fire Marshal and Planning and Building Services plan review comments. The project team anticipates bidding in the winter of 2022-23 subject to approvals by state and local oversight agencies.
