At their meeting tomorrow morning, the Lake County Board of Supervisors will consider giving themselves a raise. The LakeCountyNews reports the proposed raise would be somewhere around 38%, the latest in a series of raises recommended by a 2019 study. The board will consider a resolution accepting a bequest including 620 acres in Clearlake Oaks for use as a public park as well as “considerable proceeds” from the sales of additional properties to be distributed to Lake County Public Services, Parks and Recreation Division from the John T. Klaus 1994 Trust.
