The Lake County Administrative Office and County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Services will be updating the approved Community Wildfire Protection Plan soon. The update is available online at lakecountyca.gov. The County Administrative office will also host a workshop tomorrow evening at 5, to gather public input on the update. After several major wildfires in the past seven years, some parts of the plan work and some don’t. The public forum is designed to gather real-world information from residents directly affected by the plan.
