The next free household hazardous waste dropoff event will be held on Friday, Oct. 14, and Saturday, Oct. 15, at Lake County Waste Solutions Transfer Station and Recycling Yard, 230 Soda Bay Road in Lakeport from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Household hazardous waste is collected from Lake County residents at rotating ends of the lake for convenience of all Lake County residents.
