The Governor’s Office announced late last week that a Lakeport City Council member has been appointed to fill the District 4 seat on the Lake County Board of Supervisors. The LakeCountyNews reports Michael S. Green, of Lakeport, has been chosen. Green will resign his city council seat and will be sworn in tomorrow morning during the regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors. Green has said he will resign from his county Social Services job today.
