The Ukiah office of the National Weather Service has reported that the city set a record high temperature of 112 on Monday, surpassing the previous record of 108 set in 2020, and reached a high of 117 on Tuesday, making it the hottest day on record for the city. The city of Ukiah has opened its Civic Center at 300 Seminary Ave. as a “cooling center” this week.
