A new cannabis dispensary in Ukiah has some residents questioning its name. According to the Ukiah Daily Journal, “Cookies”, the dispensary at the corner of Talmage Road and South State Street has been complimented for the design of the storefront, neighbors, however, think the name is marketing directly to children and that’s a cause for concern. City planners were not made aware of the name or the signage when the zoning was approved. A complaint has been filed with the Department of Cannabis Control.
