Following the state’s guidelines, Mendocino County has ended routine COVID-19 testing mandates for unvaccinated workers and all mask recommendations except in healthcare settings as of the 17 of this month. In a press release, County Health officer Andy Coren says that public health has also rescinded its strong recommendation for masking due to the low level of community spread, leaving it up to the individual to determine when and where to mask. Public health is advising residents to get the newest booster, however, which is available most everywhere.
