Lucerne Elementary School District will soon receive part of $33.7 million to repair or build early education centers across the state. The LakeCountyNews reports Governor Newsome announced the funding as part of the $490 million Access California Preschool and Kindergarten Facilities program grants. Lucerne Elementary is said to have received just over $2 million which will go toward construction of two new transitional kindergarten classrooms.
