The city of Lakeport will be hosting one of Lake County’s Coastal Clean Up Day sites at Library Park in Lakeport on Saturday the 17th. This is an annual event throughout the state organized by the California Coastal Commission to reduce the amount of litter reaching waterways, including Clear Lake. The event will take place from 9:00am-noon. The City will provide supplies, gloves, and refreshments to the volunteers. More information can be found on the City of Lakeport Facebook page.
