According to the Lake County Association of Realtors, the number of homes available for sale in the area continues to climb, with prices lower than this time last year. The Lake County News reports in August, homes sold totaled 85 as compared to 123 at the same time last year. There are 445 homes on the market currently and if the rate of sales stays the same at 85 homes sold per month, there are currently 5.2 months of inventory on the market at the moment. Less than six months inventory is usually considered a seller’s market.
