Ukiah Unified School District has announced that they will have a community meeting concerning Developer Fees Monday at the school District Service Center beginning at 5:30 p.m. The community is invited to attend and learn about developer fees, and there will be time for questions and discussion. Developer fees are paid to school districts to mitigate the impact of new development on the school facilities. In 2014, Ukiah Unified Trustees directed the Administration to cease collecting developer fees temporarily. Since then, the District has not collected developer fees on any new development within District boundaries.
