The Willits Unified School District’s Seamless Summer Program continues to offer free meals for kids up to 18 years of age, whether they’re enrolled in the WUSD or not. According to the Willits News, Mondays are busiest, with families picking up meals for the week. The Seamless Summer Program also feeds kids enrolled in summer school, as well as the Imagination Station pre-school and Childcare Center and the Otters Swim Team. The program, funded through the USDA has been in existence for over a decade. Meals are served free of charge Monday through Friday at the Baechtel Grove Middle School and runs through August 12th.
