Meadow Fire in Anderson Valley

Cal Fire reports that as of late yesterday, nearly 200 firefighters have contained 50% of a Mendocino County wildfire that’s destroyed two structures in a remote area on the eastern side of the Anderson Valley. Firefighter had made significant progress in containing the Meadow Fire, with air tankers dropping retardant lines around the blaze. At 7 pm last night, the fire had burned just over 16 acres, slowing down in the Boonville area.No evacuations were ordered, but the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office warned people to avoid the area in announcements on social media and Nixle.
