In a unanimous vote at the end of last month, the Lake County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution authorizing the Public Services Director to execute documents to allow Lake County to receive just over $1.3 million from the Clean California local grant program. According to the Lake County News, the funds will go towards improvements at 15 parks in the county. The city of Clearlake will receive just over $1.5 million to beautify the downtown corridor with directional signage and murals among other improvements.
