The former Ukiah police sergeant facing seven felonies and one misdemeanor, pled no contest to one felony and one misdemeanor at a pretrial conference late Thursday afternoon. Kevin Murray is facing anywhere between two years felony probation or the possibility of three or four years in jail. Judge Carly Dolan ordered him to report to a probation officer within three days. Murray is scheduled to be sentenced August 24th. He is still facing a civil suit filed by former UPD officer Isabel Siderakis.
