The city of Clearlake has selected a design for the improvements to Lakeshore Drive. Earlier in the year, the city council solicited designs and selected BKF Engineering. The contract with BKF covers having the company incorporate desirable elements from previous designs to define the project, which will include complete streets, with pedestrian and bicycle connections, and refining options for intersection configurations, parking, gateway, visual opportunities, and stormwater. The team will also provide alternative designs, help find funding to complete the project, surveys, cost estimates, and public validation of the final project.
