An arrest has been made in the fatal hit and run of a pedestrian yesterday on Highway 53. According to the Lake County News, James Nelson of Clearlake was arrested early Wednesday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter in the death of James Torrey, also of Clearlake. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact the Clearlake Police Department.
