Adventist Health and Anthem Blue Cross have agreed to a two-week contract extension while the two entities continue contract negotiations involving issues including reimbursement. According to the Lake County News, the current contract between the two expired Monday, which caused local patients great concern over whether their coverage and treatment would continue. The current contract extension expires on August 1st.
