Officers responding to the Noyo Bridge in Fort Bragg were able to keep a woman from jumping off on Tuesday morning. Officers arrived at the bridge to find a distraught woman trying to climb over the railing. As officers spoke to her, another came up behind her and pulled her to safety. She was transported to the Mendocino Coast Adventist Hospital for a mental health evaluation. Just two weeks ago, a man died after he jumped from that same bridge.
