In yesterday’s election, Mendocino County Sheriff Matt Kendall appears to be headed to another term, as early numbers indicate more than 90% of votes in his favor. In the race for Mendocino County Superintendent of Schools, current Superintendent Michelle Hutchins is trailing challenger Nicole Glentzer by about 5 percent of the vote. Fifth District County Supervisor Ted Williams and Third District Supervisor John Haschak show to be moving toward reelection. Assessor/Clerk/Recorder Katrina Bartolomie, Auditor/Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector Chamise Cubbison and District Attorney David C. Easter all ran uncontested.
