Mendocino County One of Thirteen At High Level of COVID 19 Infections

Thirteen California counties including Mendocino have been put in the high level of community infections of COVID-19 by the CDC. The high level means the CDC recommends indoor masking. Alameda County, not at the high level has announced a new indoor masking mandate. As of Thursday Mendocino county was at 206 cases per 100,000 for the past week. Lake County was in the medium community level last week with 191 cases per 100,000. Until Thursday, none of California’s counties had been in the high level since the omicron surge.
