Tuesday morning, officers were dispatched to the Noyo Bridge in Fort Bragg on the report of a man ready to jump. Officers made contact with the man and while waiting for a Crisis Worker to arrive, tried to convince him to climb to safety. Unfortunately, the man jumped. Medical personnel were notified. The man was declared deceased. His name is not being released out of respect for his family.
