Man Injured In Fall of Cliff on Mendo Coastline Rescued

A man injured in a fall off a cliff along the Mendocino County coastline over the weekend was rescued by helicopter rescue from the Sonoma County Sheriff’s office. Multiple agencies responded to the call for help on Sunday, when it was reported that a man had fallen down a cliff and likely had a broken leg. A Redwood Fire paramedic swam to the shore to assist the patient and an officer was lowered by helicopter. All three were airlifted back to a nearby parking lot where a REACH helicopter took the patient to a nearby hospital for treatment.
