A man who saved the lives of two other people from a fire in a mobile home has been awarded the Lakeport Police and Fire Life Saving Medal. Larry Richardson saw a fire adjacent to his workplace near the Lake County Fairgrounds in the Fall of last year and at extreme risk to himself, entered the burning home and helped the occupants to safety. Chief of Police Brad Rasmussen and former Fire Chief Jeffrey Thomas presented Richardson with the medal and a letter of commendation
