Saturday, Charlie Jolin and his service to the community of Lakeport will be celebrated at the Westside Community Park at 10 am. Jolin helped establish Library Park, the Westside Community Park, as well as serving on numerous city committees and commissions. The City Council has named the street into the Westside Park ‘Charlie Jolin Way’ and a plaque commemorating his service will be unveiled on Saturday and a community picnic will be held. Everyone is invited.
