Election Day Turnout Could Be Lowest In A Century

It’s Election Day, and voter turnout isn’t expected to be great. Only about 10% of ballots have been returned thus far and even if voters return more mail-in ballots, the state could see the lowest primary turnout in over a hundred years. All registered Californians should already have received a ballot in the mail. No stamp or postage is required to mail in the ballot. They must be postmarked no later than today and received by June 14. Ballots also may be dropped off at vote centers and drop boxes. They can be located online at caearlyvoting.sos.ca.gov
