Local law enforcement trade their gear belts for aprons today for the annual Tip A Cop event, in support of the Special Olympics. The Lake County Deputy Sheriff’s Association will be at the Cowpoke Cafe in Middletown from 9 am to 12 noon and at Lyndalls Sports Stop Grill in Kelseyville from 5 pm to 8 pm. The Lakeport Police Officers Association will be at Susie Q’s from 7 am to 9 am Sweet Pea’s Ice Cream from 1-4 pm and O’Meara Brothers from 5-8.
