The Mendocino Railway has issued a press release, asking the city of Fort Bragg to end what the railway calls a baseless lawsuit to take control of the railway from the California Public Utilities Commission and the U.S. Department of Transportation and give it to the city of Fort Bragg. This past Thursday, Judge Clayton L. Brennan of the Mendocino County Superior Court ruled that he would allow Fort Bragg to proceed with its lawsuit. The railway is pursuing an emergency request to the Court of Appeals to review Judge Brennon’s ruling.
