Lakeport City Council Meets This Evening

The Lakeport City Council meets this evening at 6 to discuss a bond proposal that would fund making improvements in the city’s water infrastructure and will also consider a memorandum of understanding between the Lakeport Police Department and the Lakeport Unified School District for a school resource officer for fiscal years 2022-23 and 2023-24. The Water Fund has several capital improvement projects that are a priority, totaling almost $6 million to be achieved. The city has to determine which financing plans would be the best for completion of those projects. The agreement between the Lakeport PD and the school would cost about $25,000 a year.
