The Lake County Sheriff’s Office on Friday arrested a man for possession of almost 3 and a half pounds of methamphetamine, 24 grams of heroin, and almost 5 ounces of fentanyl, estimated to be well over 69,000 doses, as well as a large amount of packaged marijuana and multiple firearms, including a fully automatic “ghost gun”. Brandon Charles Weilert of Nice, also known as Brandon Grendis, was charged with distributing and selling narcotics and possessing illegal weapons among other charges. He is being held in the Lake County Jail without bond.
