The Lake County Board of Supervisors at their latest meeting voted unanimously against a large cannabis grow project that would have been located next to south county subdivisions and which wanted to remove a large section of 130 blue oak woodland. The vote against WeGrow LLC was the second time the project has come before the board of supervisors. The planning commission approved WeGrow’s application, but concerns by neighbors and other citizens prompted an appeal and the board voted to uphold the citizen appeal.
