Ukiah Pharmacist Being Investigated for Selling Fake COVID Vaccination Cards

The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating a Ukiah Pharmacy manager after allegations she was selling and distributing fake COVID-19 vaccination cards. Ranna Shamiya, director of pharmacy at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley Hospital, is one of three people involved in a scheme to make and sell fake vaccination cards and bogus COVID-19 cures. Shamiya is accused of helping naturopathic doctor Juli Mazi of Napa in the scheme. Shamiya is charged with making false statements, if convicted, she faces five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
